Visiting the Southern Hemisphere was such a great experience. Our main goal was to do as much skiing as possible on a limited budget. We also wanted to get in some backcountry skiing while down there, but due to weather conditions and bad timing we never really got to as we had hoped. We did find some cool terrain and good snow and made new friends. During the month that we were there we traveled a lot checking out different areas. We learned about how the Argentines approach life; very relaxed, no breakfast, lots of mate, siestas, and late lunches and dinners.

Argentina Part 1
Our arrival into Santiago, moving on over the pass into Argentina, stopping at Mendoza, and finally catching up with the boys at Las Lenas for our first ski turns.

Traveling South by overnight bus to Bariloche with Jenny and Martin, skiing at Cerro Catedral and exploring the surrounding towns and areas.

Jenny and I travel further south on our own, down into Northern Patagonia to the town of Esquel, for some skiing at La Hoya and exploring around Esquel.

Jenny and I leave Esquel to travel over to Puerto Madryn and from there we travel up North to Buenos Aires for some city culture before flying home.
